Soil Moist Mats absorb water and holds it in the container. As the soil begins to dry, the mat slowly releases stored water into the soil and the plant's roots over an extended period of time. Place mat on the bottom of your container or hanging basket, place potting soil on top of mat and plant as usual. Mats measure 7"x7", six mats per package.
