50 Days. Sunray is a yellow straightneck that produces high yields of very smooth squash that hold their diameter well without bulbing. The large bush type plants have shown good tolerance to powdery mildew and have an open habit, allowing for easy harvest. Sunray also has the precocious yellow gene, which gives the fruit a yellow stem and helps mask the greening effects of cucumber mosaic virus and watermelon mosaic virus II.
