Another foliage plant, Ornamental Kale (also known as Flowering Kale) present attractive frilly leaves on a low growing plant habit. Generally the leaves are darker than the center, and all will color up nicely under cooler temperatures, making this item great for fall color and food garnishes. Dwarf types make a nice addition to fall landscapes as well as containers. There are also a few unusual taller types that cut flower growers are becoming more familiar with for use in mixed bouquets.
