Rutger University released the first Rutger tomato seeds in 1934 for commercial growers. Today, the seeds are a gardener's favorite. Known for crack resistant tomatoes of mild flavor, this variety has a medium-large indeterminate vine that performs best on stakes or a trellis. The small 6- to 8-ounce fruit are perfect for canning and slicing for sandwiches and salads. Resistance to Alternaria, Fusarium Wilt, and Verticillium Wilt.

We offer free standard shipping on orders above $250!

For orders below $250, shipping and handling charges will include outbound freight and packaging materials. Charges apply to all orders, and are based on the total order value before tax. Expedited services are also available at Checkout, and additional charges apply.

We are currently processing and shipping most orders within 1-3 business days of receipt (backorders not included), via USPS or UPS. Due to high demand during the peak months of January to May, orders may require additional time for packaging /shipment. Live plants are only shipped at certain times of the year and may be delayed due to poor weather conditions. Plugs & liners ship directly from our plug & liner grower specialists.
