Heirloom tomatoes are known for their great eating quality and Brandywine is one of the best. It has large fruit with deep pink skin and pink-red flesh. The potato leaf plant is not a heavy yielder but makes up for it with flavorful fruit. The indeterminate plants are recommended for staking and as with heirlooms, disease resistance is lacking. Organic Brandywine is the Sudduth strain version.

Ark of Taste is a recovery and conservation effort by Slow Foods USA. You can help grow and preserve their heritage to protect the biodiversity of endangered varieties. We are proud to offer these varieties in hopes to preserve diversity for future generations.
