Mariana is one of the widely used saladette types because of its wide adaptability, disease package and fruit uniformity. Determinate plants offer good yields of 4 to 5 oz. fruit that have good smoothness and are uniform ripening. The plant offers good disease resistance to Alternaria stem canker, Fusarium wilt (races 1 and 2),Verticillium wilt (race 1) and Nematode, and intermediate resistance to Stemphylium.
